Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov

The opening of the multifunctional modern Palace of Martial Arts took place on July 6, 2019. By the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan (No. 802 dated November 27, 2020), the sports complex was named after the Olympic champion, world champion in Greco-Roman wrestling, and legendary athlete Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov.

The Palace of Martial Arts named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov is located on the left bank of the Ishim River at 43 Kabanbay Batyr Avenue. It is a unique sports complex capable of hosting international martial arts competitions.
