1) For what sports is Olympic training carried out at the Center?

The Center provides training in 6 types of wrestling, such as: Freestyle wrestling, Women's wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, judo, karate, taekwondo.

2) The purpose of creating the Center?

The purpose of creating the Center is to organize and conduct year-round centralized training of athletes to improve their sports skills.

3) What are the objectives of the Center?

  1. improving the sportsmanship of athletes and successful performance in the international sports arena;

  2. selection and training of candidate athletes for the main composition of regular national teams or national teams of the Republic of Kazakhstan in sports;

  3. ensuring the organization and conduct of the educational and training process, analyzing its results, the dynamics of growth of individual indicators of the development of physical qualities, increasing the level of technical and tactical training of athletes.

4) What are the requirements for the enrollment of athletes in the Center?

Athletes of the youth, junior and young adult ages athletes in sports at the Olympic Training Centers and who are winners and prize-winners of championships (superiority championships) of the Republic of Kazakhstan or international competitions, as well as athletes included in the national teams of the Republic of Kazakhstan in sports.

5) What documents do athletes provide when enrolling in the OTC?

  1. a copy of an identity card or passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

  2. a copy of the certificate of conferment of the sports title;

  3. a copy of the medical record, the conclusion of the Republican Center for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation or the medical and physical education dispensary on the athlete’s health status and the prospects for his participation in this sport;

  4. athlete’s personal card

  5. a copy of the order on enrollment in the permanent composition of the sports organization;

  6. confirmation of sports results (copy of the competition protocol).

6) On what basis are athletes with OTC expelled?

  1. a decrease in sports results in accordance with the individual plan, in terms of winning medals and places in competitions;

  2. for health reasons based on a medical report;

  3. use of prohibited substances and prohibited methods;

  4. violation of the internal regulations of the Center.
