Ainagulov Meirambek

(born 17 February 1994, Shalkar, Aktobe region, Kazakhstan) - Kazakh Greco-Roman wrestler. Prize-winner of the World and Asian Championships, as well as the Asian Games. Participant in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Sports career:

Since 2003, he has been involved in Greco-Roman wrestling, a student of Children's and Youth Sports School No. 1 named after. V. Tsekhanovich, coach Rakhymzhan Bakhytzhanov. In 2009 and 2010, he won bronze medals at the Asian Cadet Championships. World champion 2011 among cadets in the category up to 50 kg. In 2015, he won the Summer Military World Games in the up to 59 kg category. In 2016 and 2018 he won bronze at the World Military Championships.

In 2017 in Paris he became vice-world champion in the up to 59 kg category.

In 2018 he became a bronze medalist at the Asian Championship and Asian Games.

At the pre-Olympic World Championships in Kazakhstan in 2019 in the up to 60 kg weight category, Meirambek won a bronze medal and received an Olympic license for the National Olympic Committee.

At the Tokyo Olympics he lost in the first bout and dropped out of the competition.
