Yergali Alisher

(born 12 April 1999, Zhambyl region, Republic of Kazakhstan) is a Kazakh freestyle wrestler, participant in the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Sports career:

In August 2019, in Warsaw, he won the international tournament in memory of Vaclav Tsiolkovsky. In September 2019, at the World Championships in Nur-Sultan, reaching the semi-finals, he won an Olympic license for the Games in Tokyo. In November 2020, having defeated Serik Bakhytkhanov in the final, he became the champion of Kazakhstan. In April 2021, at the Asian Championships in Almaty, he became a silver medalist, losing to the Iranian Ali Shabani. In April 2022, at the Asian Championships in Ulaanbaatar, he won the silver medal, losing to the Iranian Yadollah Mohammadkazem Mohebi.
