The Asian Youth Taekwondo Championship kicked off in Kuching, Malaysia, from July 25 to 28, 2025.

On the first day of the competition, Aruzhan Naimanbayeva, an athlete of the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace of The Republican State Enterprise "Olympic training center by types of wrestling", won a gold medal in the -68 kg weight category!
