From June 21 to 26, 2025, the U17 Asian Wrestling Championships are being held in Vung Tau, Vietnam.

Today, athlete Assambek Bekasyl from the Olympic Wrestling Training Center — based at the Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov — won the gold medal in the men’s freestyle wrestling 60 kg weight category!
