From July 25 to July 28, 2025, the Asian Taekwondo Cadet Championship started in Kuching, Malaysia.

On the first day of the competition, an athlete of the Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyka Ushkempirova of The Republican State Enterprise "Olympic training center by types of wrestling" Azim Talgatuly won the silver medal in the 37 kg weight category!
