From May 22 to 26, 2025, the Junior Judo European Cup is being held in Kaunas, Lithuania. On the first day of competition, athletes from the Jaxylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace, representing the Olympic Training Center for Wrestling Sports, claimed 1 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal.

Gold Medalist:

• Kairat Zhenisuly (-60 kg)

Silver Medalists:

• Telzhan Sultanbay (-60 kg)
• Ruslana Makhatova (+78 kg)

Bronze Medalist:

• Omar Nurbergenov (-73 kg)

Additionally, competing as part of Team Kazakhstan, Kayyrkhan Abdirakhman became a champion, and Darmen Yesengeldi earned a bronze medal.
