On April 26 of this year, as part of the republican campaign "Yerlikke tagzym" ("Tribute to Heroism"), dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the staff of the Russian State Olympic Training Center for Wrestling conducted a sanitary cleaning of the memorial complex to General I. Panfilov and 28 Panfilov heroes in Zheruyk Park.

The participants of the action put the monument in order, removed the garbage and paid tribute to those who defended the freedom and independence of our Motherland.

Such events not only beautify the city, but also strengthen the bond of generations, reminding of the importance of respect for the heroic past of our country.
